MKL Motors has just supplied and fitted a reconditioned TD5 engine to my Land Rover Discovery 2. I am pleased with the end result. The engine is much smoother than any previous old Land Rover engine I have driven.

The customer service throughout has been very responsive and friendly. As others have said they sent photos at key stages.

The cost was competitive and much better than my usual garage. MKL Motors only charged for work they did and they even cleaned parts instead of replace them where appropriate. The whole engine bay came back cleaner than I have ever seen it. Looked like new. This is especially a surprise as it was so covered in sandy clay from off-roading when I gave it to them.

I have had to drop them down one star because they took longer than quoted to complete the work.

I would use them again, although I hope I don't destroy another engine any time soon!

I have recently used MKL for an engine change in my Audi A4. I have been very happy with service levels received from Khaled who I have dealt with from start to finish. I found him very personable throughout and quick to respond to any of my enquires. He kept me fully up to date at every stage of the process and at each point a decision needed to be made. After having a catastrophic engine failure with a used BMW X6 I was confronted with huge repair bills from BMW dealers. Mkl came to my rescue, not only replaced my engine with a totally rebuilt unit (purrs like new) but also replaced the front drive shafts and more, for half the price asked for by the dealers. It will take a lot to wipe the smile from my face. Thanks for the great work, I would recommend you to anyone who wants any engine or transmission work done.

MKL provided a very quick and efficient engine replacement for my Shogun after mine destroyed itself. They were very knowledgeble on the type of engine, had fantastic customer service and were easy to contact and organise shipping of the new engine to Scotland.

As for the replacement engine - It looks and runs like new!! You may get cheaper on the internet but you will not get better! Trust me when I say it will be the best money you spend. The garage where the engine was changed out had not seen a better conditioned replacement engine.

MKL replaced our Nissan Navara engine, they were half the price of the main dealer even after the Turbo had to be replaced and the camshafts and the whole block. Communication throughout was perfect couldn't fault it at all, text messages, photos and phone calls a great personal service. If we had one complaint (and it's a little picky) the old water pump was left in the back of the car on the seats (along with some grease), but hey wiped off, not a problem, would recommend without a doubt.

From the very beginning, Mkl motors were extremely helpful and efficient in our requirements. I wholeheartedly recommend them. Thanks for a great service.

MKL supplied and fitted my recently purchased Land Rover, Range Rover Sport 3.6 TDV8 with a reconditioned engine. I researched on the internet and I found MKL to be very competitive with the price.

Initially I visited their workshop and I felt confident that MKL were competent and equipped to undertake this type of job. They already had 2 Land Rovers on their ramps and the staff were very knowledgeable. They had vast experience in working on this type of engine, which after having spent weeks researching online I knew it was a specialist job. I was fully advised of the cost of this job during my consultation with MKL.

MKL arranged to have my vehicle collected and kept me fully informed at all times. They regularly sent me photographs of the work being undertaken throughout all the stages of the engine replacement. I was very satisfied with the customer service I received form MKL. I found MKL to be very honest and upfront at all times. I would not hesitate in recommending MKL for this type of work especially on Land Rover vehicles.

The vehicle performance is astounding. It drives like a new vehicle. The after care service I received from MKL was also excellent. I was contacted regularly for several weeks after having collected my vehicle to determine if I was satisfied and if I had any concerns.
