Fuel Pumps

Not all vehicle engines actually require a fuel pump, but most modern vehicle engines have a pumping system that feeds fuel through a line or hose directly to the engine. The fuel pump can normally be located on the front of the engine block, close to the carburettor system. The pressure that the pump needs to create totally depends on your engine type. If you have a carburettor the fuel needs to be delivered under low pressure whilst a high pressure is needed for fuel injection systems.

To ensure the smooth running of your engine, it is alway important to fit quality fuel pumps. As a vital aspect of the fuel delivery system, good quality fuel pumps will ensure that your car runs smoothly and does not suffer from fuel starvation.
